Organic food; food miles; local producers; are people really concerned about these issues.  I don’t think so.  I believe they are more concerned about the simplicity of the food.  They want food that has not been messed about with, that does not have e-numbers and additives or packaged food that has been machined in to life.  Or for food that has been irradiated for a longer shelf life (some muffins we saw recently had a used by date 5 months on from the current date.)   Come and enjoy simple beautiful tasting food.

Where quality allows Indulgence sources produce from local suppliers and daily prepares food with fresh herbs.  “The smell of fresh herbs being prepared in the morning is fantastic” explains Sue Hunter a passionate advocate of simple fresh foods. “We prepare in the morning for consumption the same day”.  Using local produce and food that has been simply prepared gives our food a light and wholesome flavour.  Using local produce enables Indulgence to offer seasonal variations to their menu of open sandwiches and lite bites.  For those who like a wine with the meal Sue recommends a glass of Surrey Gold, a stunning English medium dry white wine or a bottle of dark larger brewed locally by Freedom Brewery with water from their own Staffordshire wells.
